The journey to her remarkable success has been both challenging and extraordinary. Arriving in the United States as an immigrant from Latvia, Una completed her undergraduate studies and moved on to complete medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine with honors. Her residency training was completed at Beth Israel/Mount Sinai Medical Center, where she held the position of Chief Fellow for both of her fellowships in Pain Management and Palliative Care & Hospice.
